Performs and oversees electrical installations necessary for upgrades and other projects in a Distribution Center Production environment located in Weirton, West Virginia. Performs electrical as well as mechanical preventative maintenance. Makes repairs to existing electrical and mechanical equipment. Repairs other various automated equipment in the Distribution Center.  Assists in housekeeping responsibilities including general indoor and outdoor property maintenance, and snow removal when necessary. This is an evening shift position with regular hours of 3:30 PM through 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with limited weekend and overtime work as required.


  • Performance and oversight of electrical installation work at the Distribution Center
  • Completion of preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems and material handling equipment, including mechanical, automated control devices, as well as 110V through 480V electrical repairs
  • Obtains pricing, creates purchase orders, and requisitions parts for electrical projects/repairs, and general maintenance repairs
  • Performs data entry to maintain distribution center parts inventory
  • Completes automated electrical controls diagnosis and repairs
  • Perform general construction as necessary
  • Generates daily reports on work completed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Five years previous maintenance experience in the same or similar field required
  • Electrician’s license in the state of West Virginia. Masters Preferred, no less than Journeyman’s required
  • Documented training / certification or verifiable specialty experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Electrical installation and troubleshooting
    • Electronic controls (both high and low voltage)
    • Programmable Logic Controllers / PLC Troubleshooting
    • Mechanical trades
    • HVAC
    • Lift equipment repair
    • Automated material handling equipment
    • Pneumatics / hydraulics
